HIGHLIGHTS

On Mar 27, 2015 I was the guest speaker for the University of Louisiana Lyceum Series speaking on Creativity Techniques.

On February 27, 2015 the University of Maryland Wind Orchestra conducted by Michael Votta premiered CONGO SQUARE as part of the complete trilogy "Three Places in Jazz: Congo Square, Storyville, Minton's Playhouse". The trilogy spans a 20 year creative period from 1994-2014. The performance was spectacular! It was a luxury and a joy to hear all three works performed together.

On March 25, 2014 the Texas A&M University Commerce premiered THE TEMPTATION OF SAINT ANTHONY at the beautiful Meyerson Symphony Hall in Dallas. The work was commissioned by the music department of Texas A&M University Commerce, Phillip Clements, Director of Bands and Randall Hooper, Director of Choral Activities. With a combined chorus of 180 singers it was a grand event.

In April of 2013 I had the distinct honor of being the featured composer at the Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University. Under the direction of Stephen Squires, the wind ensemble performed FIELDS, THE HOUND OF HEAVEN and the Illinois premiere of SINFONIETTA
